Hana Gerbelová

Senior Consultant

Hana Gerbelová has been working at SEVEn since January 2024. Her primary focus is collaboration on international projects. These include the StreamSAVE+ project, which assists EU Member States in harmonizing energy savings calculations, and Double-Decker, which focuses on the education needed to meet the requirements of near-zero energy buildings. In addition to dedicated projects, she is involved in the development of regional energy concepts, energy efficiency in the context of ESG rules in the construction sector and the assessment of the Czech market within the framework of the Heat Pump Technology Cooperation Programme. She graduated with an advanced degree in Energy Engineering from the Faculty of Environment at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, followed by a PhD in Sustainable Energy Sources at the MIT-Portugal Programme in Lisbon. Before joining SEVEn, she worked as a scientific researcher for the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission in projects focusing on the techno-economic and social impacts of the energy transition.
