Jakub Kvasnica completed his studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2019 with a diploma thesis on the energy costs of households for renewable and non-renewable energy sources. He subsequently decided to continue his doctoral studies, focusing on energy-economic modelling and simulations in the field of buildings. He also joined SEVEn as a consultant, specialising in identifying, implementing and evaluating energy efficiency policies in the building sector and on project development in the field of energy savings, renewable energy sources and climate action. He has experience with EPC guaranteed energy savings projects (e.g. CSO building in Prague), international Horizon projects (CraftEdu), TA CR projects (update of national cost optimum calculation in CZ, PED-ID) and a number of other projects (e.g. analysis and assessment of energy savings achieved by selected Member States under Article 7 of the EED or design of a district energy solution for a new Prague district in the former Žižkov freight station area).
