Jan Pojar focuses on topics related to energy in buildings and the economics of energy in buildings, particularly energy poverty, energy flexibility and energy communities. He has been working with SEVEn since 2016, has been involved in the development of educational materials and models in the Train-to-NZEB and ingREeS projects. He joined SEVEn as a consultant in 2020, primarily focusing on national and international projects of TAČR, Horizon 2020 and Life. He is currently involved in the development of innovative business models for innovative energy services in the BungEES project. Jan graduated with a master's degree in Buildings and Environment from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2015. A year later, he earned a master's degree in Construction Management, which he followed up with a PhD in 2024, successfully defending his dissertation on strategies for reducing energy poverty in the Czech Republic.
