Václav Šebek

Senior Consultant

Václav Šebek focuses on urban energy policy, education and awareness in the field of energy savings and research projects. He has been working at SEVEn since 2018. Since October 2024, he has been the coordinator of the international CETAC project aimed at developing information and advice centres for citizens and companies as a tool for urban decarbonisation plans. He has also been involved in the organisation of a series of roundtables on the financing of energy efficiency in buildings in the GreenDeal4Buildings project or, in the field of technology, in the assessment of biomethane in the gas distribution network in the SmartInject project as well as several other national and international projects. Previously, he was engaged in social science research at Masaryk University in Brno and worked at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic as part of the authoring team of the strategic framework for the sustainable development of the Czech Republic 2030. He also served as an analyst at the Department of Energy Savings at the Ministry of Industry and Trade. He holds degrees in economics and political science.
