Jan Veleba has been working at SEVEn since March 2016 as an energy savings consultant and since April 2023 as a subsidy specialist. He has been involved in international training projects in the field of Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (nZEB), complex building renovations and renewable energy sources since May 2015. His primary focus is on subsidy management, including the complete administration of applications for support mainly from the Operational Programmes OPŽP, OPPIK, OPTAK and the Modernisation Fund. The administration is carried out in the information systems MS2014+, ISKP21+ and AIS of SFŽP ČR, throughout the entire life cycle of each project. The main tasks are preparation of documents and annexes, operation of the relevant information systems and management of communication with clients and project managers of the Fund. He contributes to the development of strategic documents such as the territorial energy concepts of the regions (Olomouc, South Moravia, South Bohemia, Vysočina Region and Prague) and reports on their implementation. He prepares project studies of photovoltaic power plants and heat pumps and has collaborated in the development of energy audits for the Transport Company of the Capital City of Prague. Additionally, he oversees communications providing information about SEVEn's activities within international projects through SEVEn's website and social networks. Previously, he organised training courses and acted as a trainer. In 2014-2018, he was Vice-Chairman of the Commission for Territorial Development and Environment of the Prague 15 Municipality and, since 2018, he has been a member of the Control Committee of the Prague 15 Municipal Council. He graduated with degrees in Architecture and Civil Engineering and Construction Management from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague.
